Poppystamps Blog Hop with Buttons Galore and More!

“Are you hopping with us today?  If you are, you should have reached me from  Kelli Stradling’s blog.  If you’d like to start at the beginning and get all the details you can find them at the Poppystamps Blog or at Buttons Galore and More blog.  Both companies are having a SPECIAL sale during this hop! Use the Promo Code: BUTTONS for your discount!

My Blog Hop card features buttons, from Buttons Galore and More, and Poppystamps Stitched Bloom Trio die set.

Buttons make a cute and simple embellishment to any card or project! If the button has a shank you can easily remove it with your wire snips; then the button will lie flat!

I used Memory Box Slider Grooves, to create my flower stems, and Poppystamps Believe stamp and die set for my sentiment!

I think the little bee button was the perfect embellishment to finish my card! There were so many buttons to choose from it was hard to make up my mind!

Remember, BOTH companies are offering a 20% discount and Free Shipping (USA only); don’t miss this opportunity to save before the holidays!

Ready to see more designs made with products from both of these amazing companies?  The next stop on this shop is Rebecca Keppel, BUT before you go please leave a comment on my blog!  There’s some BLOG CANDY up for grabs and you need to leave a comment for a chance to win! Poppystamps Fall Thank You

Hi everyone! Today I’m sharing my Poppystamps Thank You card with you. This card uses the Stitched Oak Trio and Stitched Maple Trio die sets from Poppystamps 2017 Holiday release!

Another card using my growing pile of “can’t throw out, will be useful for another project” cardstock scraps! I will never us them all and one of these days I will just fill my trash can and start over! The detail in the Fall leaves add interest and texture, plus I love almost anything stitched.

The Thank You Streamer die was cut three times and layered using spray adhesive. I flicked a warm gold metallic watercolor onto the wreath and card front.

To keep my wreath round I used one of the Pointed Circle Frame dies and attached my leaves. I added glue to the base of the leaves ONLY; it made it much easier to tuck the leaves in and add where needed.

Holiday Blog Blitz – Magical Christmas with Poppystamps

Hi everyone! GREAT news, I’m a member of the Poppystamps Design Team! I’m still doing my happy dance; do you think it will count as cardio?  This is my first post for Poppystamps and I am very excited to be a part of the Holiday 2017 release. If you haven’t seen the Holiday 2017 release you really need to grab a cup of coffee/tea and a chair and just sit and take a look!

I used several new dies and stamps from the Holiday 2017 release, My double fold card features the Open Hillside, Sloping Hillside and Snowscape dies along with the word dies “believe” and “magic”. My double fold card started with a 5 1/2″ x 12″ piece of white cardstock; I then scored at 4″ from each end.

This is the front panel…

This is the second panel…

And here is the third panel!

I used the Do You Believe stamp set to add my sentiments and the star, from the same set, was heat embossed using silver embossing powder.

I cut the words believe and magic from glitter cardstock. To add dimension, the words were also cut 2x each from white cardstock, glued and layered together along with the glitter words. To finish my card I added Stampendous Crystal Snow to the trees and hillside.

Be sure to leave a comment, you have until August 17, each day of the Poppystamps Blog Blitz, for your chance to win a preselected die. The prize for today is the Sloping Hillside die used in my post today! Winners will be announced August 18th! Good Luck!!!
