Sending Lots of Love!

Valentine’s Day is almost here, I hope you have all your cards ready to send or give! If not here’s a fun card to make using products from Poppystamps latest release!

The Petite Stitched Hearts were placed on to a postage stamp image I created using Open Studios Postage Square Layers and craft foam!

I created a pretty sentiment strip using a Stitched Heart Borders die,  added a dimensional Sending Script die cut and a stamped Lots of Love!

Here’s a video showing you how to make a simple stamped image from craft foam and almost any die you may have!

Thanks for stopping by today and be sure to check out Poppystamps Spring Release!!!

Poppystamps Blog Blitz…Happily Ever After!

I hope everyone is enjoying the Blog Blitz featuring the Spring Release from Poppystamps! You can see the entire Spring Release here.  Plus, you could win a die from each Blog Blitz post you leave a comment on!! The die you could win, if you leave a comment on this post, is the Woven Circle Ring die!  More information on the Spring Release Blog Blitz at the end of my post.

My card features the Woven Circle Ring and Delightful Daisy dies, both from the Spring Release!

I don’t do watercolors often, but I was so pleased with how this daisy turned out I may do a few more! The Woven Circle Ring was the perfect backdrop for my watercolor.

A simple pop of black sets off the whole card!

The following video will show you just how easy my Delightful Daisy was to color!

Poppystamps Blog Blitz Gingerbread Tag

Sadly Thanksgiving is a memory and we are on to the Christmas crunch!! I know I’m already behind so making a few cards here and there will hopefully help me out! Poppystamps has a new mini holiday release of 13 dies!  You can see them here in the Poppystamps store under the 2017 Winter Release title.  PLUS Poppystamps is having a Blog Blitz for this release!!  You could win BOTH the Gingerbread Boy and Girl die sets by commenting on my post today!!  More information about the Blog Blitz below!!

My project for today is a tag card. I used Poppystamps Merry Christmas Tag as my main feature and added Gingerbread Boys and a Gingerbread Girl plus a pine bough with a festive red bow.  The Gingerbread kids have the cutest clothes and the Holiday Hats fit them perfectly!  To add their happy faces I used a white gel pen.

My video will show you how I created the snowfall background using Memory Box Tiny Dots Stencil and modeling paste! I added a silver dot to the center of the bow after I made the video; I thought it needed a little somethin’ somethin’ to finish the card!

Poppystamps Fall Thank You

I am so ready for Fall! I know it is officially Fall, according to the calendar, but it is in the 90’s here and it’s only 5:00 AM. OK, not Fall in my world, lol. However, with the holidays almost upon us I find I never have enough Thank You cards and this sheet of wood veneer has been calling to me for a while; so I have been making a few Thank You cards to have on hand.

I used Poppystamps Oak Leaf Oval Collage and Thank You Streamer dies to cut the wood veneer sheet. The dies cut through the wood like butter, seriously! Best part, the wood veneer I used is adhesive backed, woo hoo!

I you don’t have wood veneer I think this card would look great using a brown cardstock! I finished my card with sequins from Poppystamps called Not So Heavy Metal; this pack of sequins and glitter is perfect for a Fall shaker card!

The following video shows how easy it is to make this card using wood veneer sheets! The oatmeal cardstock is from Wplus9 not Gina K.
