ODBD February Release

Today I am featuring the beautifully scripted “Happy Easter” stamp from  February release. Gorgeous font and the line weight lends itself to heat embossing for an elegant look!

I stamped the Flourished Happy Easter with VersaMark ink and used Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. The stamped image was then cut out using the large die from the Elegant Ovals die set. I used a lavender card stock for my A2 card base. The background panel was made using the Quatrefoil Pattern die and a backing panel covered with VersaMark ink and Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

The panel was adhered to the card base with liquid glue and Happy Easter was added with foam tape. My flower was made using the Aster die set, lavender card stock and Distress Wilted Violet ink. I used Violet Glass Glitter on the tips of the stamen; the center is a rhinestone stick on.

The leaves were made using two die sets, Pretty Posies and Fancy Foliage. By leaving the leaves in the die you can dry emboss AND color them for more detail. My bow and flower arrangement were added using hot glue. To finish my card I added pearls to the sentiment!

Thanks for stopping by!

Pretty card! I like the side view to see the shiny silvery color of your paper and embossing better. Your flower and pearls in lavender are so pretty…I LOVE purple!
