New Release from Our Daily Bread Designs

I am very excited to have been asked to be September’s guest designer for ODBD! For this release I am working with Grateful and Plant a Garden stamp sets. The Grateful stamp set has ODBD’s “from the heart” sentiments but also includes a beautiful image of a Columbine. The Plant a Garden stamp set really hit home since I have a garden spot at my local community garden, here in Orange. The die sets from this release,  the Leafy Edged Borders and Pretty Posies Dies are a great addition to anyone’s die stash!

My first card uses the detailed basket of vegetables stamp and a great sentiment from the Plant a Garden stamp set.

This card uses the pretty paper from the Blushing Rose Paper Collection. The die cuts I used are from Fancy Foliage, Layered Lacey Squares and Antique Labels and Border die sets.

My next card uses the beautiful vintage looking paper from the Shabby Rose Paper Collection, the pretty flowers and leaves are from the Pretty Posies die set and the super cute leaf sprig is from the Fancy Foliage die set. You can give your leaves added dimension by leaving the die cut in the die and sponging through the openings. The flowers and greenery were all cut from paper included in the paper pack; just add a bit of sponging to suit your design.  It’s a great way to use  the different papers in these beautiful collections!

Here you can see how I used the different papers!

I like the Plant a Garden card with the twine and the gingham. So earthy and pretty. The next card with the new Pretty Posies is beautiful. I love the papers that you used on the flowers and that I got a peek of the lace. So pretty. The sentiment is beautiful.

Very pretty! The swirly things in the first card remind me of vines wrapped around things in the garden! Love it!
