MFT Sketch Challenge

I love a challenge, no, seriously! So when I saw this sketch challenge on MFT’s blog I thought I would give it a try. I have many MFT products, stamps, dies, paper and well…you know how it goes; so I thought I would put them to good use!  Here is MFT’s sketch and then my card!

What’s fun about challenges is you put your own spin on the sketch. I used one of my favorite die sets from MFT, Blueprints 14 and paper from their Farm Fresh Gingham and Tribal Prints paper packs.

I used the Stitched Mini Scallop Circle as a background for my flowers and the sentiments are from the Simply Fabulous Sayings set.

I stamped my sentiments and then cut them out using the Stitched Fishtail Flag STAX. To make your banner/tag a shorter length simply place the end approximately where you want your tag to end in the die. By carefully moving your tag you can feel the stitches pop into the existing stitches; tape in place and barely cut the end! Stop by the MFT’s blog to see more ideas using this sketch!

Thanks for stopping by!
