I’m not sure if having a “how many days ’till Christmas Eve” app was a good idea; I looked at it today and realized there are only 29 days left! Oh my! So, today I decided to make a few cards that I can put together fairly fast using an assembly line method.
The Mighty God stamp was used in this CAS card. The Quatrefoil Pattern die was used to cut the red background which was layered onto a simple embossed panel. The panel was wrapped with a red ribbon and bow and added to my card base with liquid glue. The sentiment was added with foam pop ups and this card was finished.
As you can see, I used the red Merry Christmas on the white background and the white on the red background. The backgrounds were heat embossed with red and white embossing powder.
Almost a two for one and done! Just add a bow and a cute little snowflake charm!
My last card uses the Quatrefoil Pattern die along with the Flourished Star Pattern die to create a simple, elegant card. I layered the Quatrefoil die cut onto a matte silver panel, wrapped with silver cord and added to my A2 card base. The Star Pattern was created using shinny silver card stock and white card stock. I created my sentiment tag using the new Lovely Leaves die, Perfect Light stamp set and the Mini Tags die set.
I hope these ideas will help you with your holiday card making and inspire you to use your dies you may already have on hand!
Thanks for stopping by!
