ODBD November Release and Blog Hop is Here!

It’s the first of November AND where did this year go? I have no idea but thanks to ODBD holiday releases it will make my card projects much easier! Along with the newest release ODBD is having a blog hop, more details at the end of my post!

My first card features the beautiful stamp called The Mighty God that was heat embossed using a copper embossing powder. I distressed the edges and sponged with Distress Tea Dye. My card background uses paper from the Christmas Collection 2014. I wrapped a silk ribbon with a bow around the paper and adhered to my card base.

I cut a red border using the Beautiful Borders die set and adhered to my card base. The new Lovely Leaves die set was used to create the accent sprays. I added Diamond Dust and Red dots to finish my card.

My next card uses the pretty script die “Merry Christmas“. I cut each word three times then glued them together to create more dimension! Merry Christmas was then glued to the large frame die, from the Vintage Flourish Pattern die set, and added to my card with foam tape.

My background scene is from the Christmas Collection 2014 paper pack. I made two bow sprays using the Small Bow dies and Lovely Leaves die sets.

I used netting to create a base for the bows and both were added to my card with glue dots.

I hope you enjoy creating with this new release as much as I have; lots of possibilities and for more inspiration please check out the ODBD Blog! Here is the information for the blog hop, good luck!
